Those of you that have followed the development of acolytes for a while know that the game is mostly a character-focused piece. There is some backstory on the world, but not much and mostly you just run around and help characters in the hope of fucking them.

This upcoming update still has a lot of that, trust me, but for the first time you might get a peak behind the curtain and see what this whole world is about.

I'm not gonna spoil too much of it now, but let me just tell you that the next update comes with a bit of lore and possibly an intergalactic threat... who knows?
